I know there is a brilliant write up on this forum on removing the inlet manifold on a ml triton. I just seem to be a little stuck on getting the manifold off.
I have removed the fuel header rail and the branching lines
going into the injectors and the 10 spring loaded nuts holding the manifold on (what a pain accessing some of those). Are there any more nuts or bolts I'm missing as the thing still won't come off?
Any tips on keeping the fuel line dirt free as I don't want to get let any dirt in there. I was thinking of letting some fuel through prior to connecting back onto the injectors to flush out any grit.
For anyone thinking of doing it my car has 100k and is fairly clogged.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks Adrian
