Future Modifications

Other info:

----------
Update (24/09/14): My Triton just had its seventh birthday in August and its still going strong, though only 92500 km on the Odometer.
Suspension: I have replaced the Dobinsons front shocks / springs and the rear shocks with new Dobinsons gear as I had a great run out of the first set (70000 km).

Tyres: 50000 km on the Geolandars and only half worn using a 5 wheel rotation procedure every 10000 km.

90000km service was just done (September 2014) where I also had the intake manifolds cleaned out. There was a fair amount of build up in them so I may consider finally fitting an EGR plate since I have had one sitting around for several years but never got around to fitting it.

I have been looking at updating to a newer ute and have been waiting for the new Triton, Navara and Facelifted Ranger to come out before I make the decision, though all the next gen utes seem to look a bit soft now with longer front and rear overhangs than my ML......
----------

UPDATE (29/1/18)
I sold the Triton in mid 2016 as I wanted to update to an Auto and have more airbags for the family. I had no problems with Triton in the 9 years I owned it and i seriously considered buying an MQ, but I ended up with an Orange Ranger Wildtrak instead.

Hi. How have you found the dobinson suspension? I'm in the process of trying to decide. So far they are the only suspension manufacturer that is offering g a tail shaft spacer with a 50mm lift. Will I need it? Thanks for your help. By the way, great looking Triton!!

hey freestyle, good to hear it's not just me who's bending bash plates. I've tried bending them back into place many times. Hardest part is the re drilling and re mounting. At least they did there job. Would not have liked to see what damage would've been done with the factory paper thin decorative items.

Excellent looking vehicle. I'm thinking of getting an ARB canopy like yours. Can you tell me the height from the tray to the hinge on the back window of the canopy? Want to make sure the fridge fits!

No dents in the cab from the tray yet Buzzy. If ever it happens I would expect a canopy shaped dent around the rear window of the cab

The political party that made that election promise will not be returned to power this election, so no tax cuts for us. I will just have to save up the $$$ some other way.

Looking goooooooooooood FSC..............!! Keep it up - spend some more $$$ on it to keep the econmy ticking over. Remember all you Aussies are getting taxcuts - perfect $$$ source. (Unlike us Kiwis - no tax cut - :( )
