One thing i am having a problem with is getting bogged comming of the beach twice it has happened. Had my tyres at 20pound in low range and down it goes and when you get struck you are stuck any one else find this with the Tritons?

Hey wcc10,

Welcome mate, it was me you were talking to.
Are you the V6 or diesel...sorry I remember (I think) James and James junior (diesel) but forget the big fella.....too many beers
2 nice white Tritons though :D

The Tritons don't have any particular problems with soft sand - from experience and my reading on here.

The causeway was harder than normal on the weekend if you were going up at high-ish tide as the angle was wrong to get into the tracks properly. Low tide was still quite easy.

Did you get stuck after I saw you? If so, it was just the angle into the track IMHO.

Plenty of info on here mate to while away a few hours.

Try not to spend too much money.......seems to be a side affect of reading on here
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

Welcome James, (sounds better than wcc10:) )

I would hope to think that you getting stuck was not a Triton specific thing but more just experience and all of that other stuff.

It is one thing to be in low range but if you have a manual you still have 5 low range gears, so it depends on what gear, revs, pressures, tyre brand size, the sand etc. Either that or use it as a excuse to get bigger 265 size tyres.

Lastly on behalf of all of the members here, if Homer was at all intoxicated at any point and slurred his words we would like to say that we hope it is not a reflection of all of the members here as we are all non-drinking, law-abiding responsible citizens.

Yep, just drop the pressures further, don't change gears (i.e. keep the momentum up) assuming you have manual.
