Shoe Hold Down Pins

Gents,

broke a rear brake shoe last week...there locking on after dropping the boat in...

Through the breakage the two shoe hold down pins have gone missing....any chance any one has had to find these before ?

Will ring my local dick wheeler tomorrow, if that fails it will be a trip to the wrecking yard.

Cheers Gents.....yeah have found some handy info on the forum over the years...manifold and ERG valve etc. had the car since new....beaten to shit now but havent killed it yet!! would look at a engine rebuild and respray before thinking of buying anything new.

Just got of the phone to the dealer...has two in stock at $8.60 each...so hopefully have full breaks again soon

Brakes are good! Esp down hill.

Might be worth checking the tension springs that pull the shoes together while you've got the bits apart.

I had a few go on drum brakes on the ole Rocky.
