2008 Triton Front Passenger Door ?

Postby broomie21 on Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:01 pm

Hi All,

I have a 2008 Triton that has a faulty passenger side front door. The window was smashed recently and I replaced it with a new piece but when I put it back together I must have missed something and the door wouldn't open from the inside ? Fine from the outside and central locking working fine.
I took it apart again and found the plastic pieces that hold the cables in place are broken ? Not sure if I did this or they were on their way out anyway ?
I have tried to get a door from wreckers with no luck, Im on the Northside of Brisbane.
Wondering if anyone knows where I can try ? Do I need a whole new door ? Is it possible to just get replacement internal pieces ? I know nothing about them and searches havent turned up much at all?

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers

Dave.

Assuming that you haven't damaged the sleeves on the cables and just broken the sections where the sleeves clip in, you just need a replacement interior door handle.
Chris

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?
