Today I installed a catch can from western filters. Easy install, just had to bend the bracket a little bit

Also had a guy weld on the HD replacement bash plate mounts and reinforce the others after destroying them a while ago, not much was holding the plates there. He also beat my 3mm stainless plates back into shape (somewhat)

tore the heads off 2 other bolts holding bash plates in at the front of the car :( need to drill them out

I've often thought of a similar idea... A member on here years ago, did the same - from memory a fridge & battery arrangement. Let us know how you get on - I like it. Just the missus & me, probably had a rear seat passenger ... twice, maybe ...

Just to be a pain the arse, ... is it legal matter if the you toss the back seat out ? - Obviously you can't have a passenger back there if you do ... but the fun police tend to have a very different view to what like to do with our utes :|

As long as not permanent anything is legal, think of the draw systems in landcruisers they have to remove the 3rd row seats

Leave the back seat, Q. Remove the passenger seat instead.

The frig fits perfectly there and it doesn't lecture you when you reach in for a beer. ;)

I left the seat belt mounts, minus the centre reel so if it ever came to it i could atleast attempt to argue that the intent is for it to be temporary.

Took it into arb so they could pull out an axle to work out which rear diff I have.. 31 spline it turns out.

Would have thought there would be an easier way, at least this way there can be no ordering mistakes!

There is an easier way.

Count the bolts holding the diff centre.

There is a 10 bolt centre and 12 bolt centre.

This equates to the 9" and 9.5" diff and 28 or 31 spline axles.

I can't off the top of my head remember the combo for each though.

Removed and refitted side windows in Caddy Alpha canopy so I could replace the perished rubber track for the sliding windows. The original rubber tracks were rubbish and started falling apart just out of warranty.

Knew there'd be an easier way!

Doesn't matter, didn't cost me anything and I didn't have anything else to do.

Got 45000 k service done today, engine oil, oil filter and coolant drop, or and a spare air filter as I have the K and N filter, all paid for in the capped price servicing, on the other hand told them bout my usb in glovebox and voice recognition button not working can't hook up bluetooth but don't think the muppets even had a look at them, on invoice said confirm not working, so back in a couple of weeks to see if the muppets can fix it then. :x
