Has anyone had luck with installing a led light bar to a Triton sportsbar? I think two small seperate lights would work maybe with bullbar brackets. But as there is a slight curve I don't think one long large bar would work. And the curve is vertical rather than horizontal as I have seen bars with a curve for that.

Hey guys looking for help with diff centres. Haven't found anything covering what I'm after. I'm chasing info on putting an lsd in my 2014 mn glx as I have an open rear diff. I have 4.1 diff gears I'm wondering if I can get a different ratio centre (3.7 or what ever) and change the crown wheel with my 4.1 one. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Why? The ASC and Traction Control will negate the effect. That's why Mitsubishi dropped the LSD.

Not true,
Fraz did what you are asking and found the addition of the lsd worked very well on and off road, he even did a video

Fraz put in the centre from a ml triton into a mn

You just need to find a lsd centre to match your crown bolt pattern, might be able to work that out from the bolts on the front of the rear diff- 10 or 12 bolt will give some insight as to what you need
Getting Out There
Sucks to be you, glad I bought a 3.2 :o

Do we have a dedicated hunting thread? I found a ballistics thread and a few on personal hunting trips.

I think the ballistics thread would be the closest general hunting thread.

Agreed, the ballistics thread is a ripper :P . I was more trying to find a thread that included bow hunting, dogs and knives, trapping etc. If anyone here is into that sort of thing :) .

I'd certainly like to be - if anyone around Perth wouldn't mind taking someone along with them, I'd love to hear from them. Longtime hunter ( grew up on a farm in Africa, shot anything and everything from meerkat up to wildebeest ). Recently ( 2 years ago ) started archery and would like to try my hand at bow hunting !

G'day everyone, quick exhaust question, I did search but too many results, none specific to what I'm needing :D

Triton ml 3.2 2006 260k km standard other than spv egr removal.

Exhaust options. Just downpipe (no cat) $190. Or full exhaust around $500 depending on with or without cat or box. Or just leave it alone? All prices are ebay, will fit myself, on a tight budget.

(Just went to fit egr probe thinking I would remove the cat and have it replaced with a straight pipe until l saw it and realised it won't be that easy.)

Thanks, Dan

Hi everyone,

Hopefully I can get some great sound advice or links to follow.

Last month I purchased my first 4x4 a 2005 dual cab V6 auto Triton, MK model.

It will be used to teach the kids to drive in, occasional rough dirt track and forestry roads ( I'm a volunteer firey so would use for training exercises and fires when we need more people than we have room for in the truck and cruiser) and carting things from shops to home etc. so not serious off-roading as such.

So I'm wanting to know what I should be doing to make it a better truck.

I've replaced tyres to Bridgestone Dueler A/T 697

Cut 'n' polished the gunmetal paint as it was faded and she looks like new :D. On wheel archers and a few small spots on the roof there appears to be some clear coat peeling so suggestions to fix?

Yesterday I installed a GME UHF and Bushranger 48 watt drive lights ( a flood and a spot). I mounted the aerial and drive lights on the factory nudge bar.

I do have the dash 4x4 green light flashing but will look at solonoid and actuator once I can get her up on a ramp.

Any suggestions to make the old girl go from good to great as a general duties truck?

I had 2 mk's. Honestly, just good tyres, and get your tyre pressures right when off reading and that's it. Don't mess too much with it, I lifted one of mine and regretted it instantly, didn't ride as well and popped a CV under normalish conditions. Check all your ball joints and CV joints for wear, change all your fluids.

So I stopped the alarm, no codes (so far) I disconnected the plug under the seat, purple and black wires, white plug. took it for a drive no codes no alarm, reverse down drive a few times all good.
The plug i disconnected runs to the seat belt clip and from what I can tell (only looking) is separate to the yellow wires for the side air bag.

just done mine perfect :)

I know I've seen it though can't find it...

Does anyone know what model Pajero has the shorter water washer bottle? I remember it posted in a thread that had members cut the bottom off theirs and plastic weld it.

Can't seem to find it now :(

Has anyone tried this? It claims to get rid of turbo lag and
Flat spots. I have a 2008 Ml triton with the egr blocked and 2 1/2
