Still some wild prices out there despite the '2k cashback' disappearing: more of a marketing gimmick I reckon. deals are still available around the same overall price. In fact it seems slightly better this month to me! Was actually slightly peeved, local dealer is now doing GLX-Rs (an apparent 'limited batch of 15' cough cough)..... for $33,990....!!! If they were easily available at this price and while I don't really need all the extra -R stuff, I would have upgraded even if just for better resale... Oh well, can't get out of my deal though as I get the car in a few days and it was bought through a leasing company.

Also saw GLX's are going up in singleton for $27,888...

Still can't complaint at my price but these are the cheapest advertised prices I've seen. Good buying people

Cant say about other models, but I had a preset search with carsales for GLX-R's. Last month it was turning up dozens of them for under 35K in QLD. This month, no more than half dozen, including couple with some 'demo milage' on. So whilst I would agree there are some equally good deals around, at least in QLD I wouldnt say it was 'better' this month.

This was for 2013 MY though. The 2012's were excluded from last months deals though, however this month a few 2012's are on special too.

Edit.

This is "possibly" also reflected in the reduced number of posts in this thread for actual purchases.

My first post....
Will pick up my new MN GLX Club Cab with tray body this Tuesday from Midland (WA).... Cost me $28500 Licensed drive away. Cheaper than a Tunland and not that much more than a Great Wall. Definitely the best buy in it's class!

White GLX+ dual cab manual
05/2013 build
Usual alloys, flares, side steps, rear step, leather wheel and gear knobs, console upgrade.
Trade canopy with sliding windows
Tub dust seal pack
Window tint, including canopy
Rubber floor mats

$32k driveaway from Gateway at Wollongong.

They wanted $550 for tub liner. I picked one up from Steve Jarvin at Homebush for $310.
They wanted $930 for a tow bar. I picked one up from Steve Jarvin at Homebush for $545. I know that some don't like the genuine tow bar, but I do.

BTW, for those who are interested in the genuine alloy bullbar (won't take a winch), Steve Jarvin can do them for just under $1500. I am planning on a TJM alloy, as I want to run a winch, but checked the price for comparison.

I wonder if Jarvin is cheaper because he's right next door to the parts warehouse?

Could be a major contributing factor. I spoke to Steve when I picked up the towbar on Thursday. He reckons that they are the biggest Mitsi spare parts dealer in NSW, yet they no longer sell the cars  . They are very sharp on pricing, and don't mind doing a further deal. I have been dealing direct with Darren, the spare parts manager, and he is exceptionally helpful. I wish I had known about them when I was buying gear for my last Mitsi!

G'day guys,

Just signed up for a brand new Silver May 2013 built 4x4 GLX Plus (has the alloys, side steps etc as standard)
EGR Premium Canopy
Tow Bar
Nudge Bar
Tub Dust Seal
Rubber Floor Mats
Rubber Mat For Tub Floor

$32,500 drive away with 12mnth rego from a Dealer on the outskirts of Brisbane.

Probably could have got it down a tiny bit more but not worth the hassle. Pretty happy with the deal. Handover is in 3 weeks.
