Actually Joe,
after seeing yours and Jops last weekend...I really like that colour now. The black rims suit that colour

I was thinking about painting the flares black like this. I've currently got the alloys away being powder coated satin black too.

 I thought it was Joe's car photoshopped, but discs!...isn't that in your driveway Joe? Friggen looks like yours..

And I was saying on the weekend that Joes rig looks sensational...just looks...complete or something.

Still not white though...

Well Spotted Sam :D . That is my truck, but unfortunately the rear discs only exist due to photoshop. I wanted to see what the standard alloys looked like all black. Decided I like it and currently have the rims away getting satin powder coated.

That's what I want to do with mine Joe.. especially after seeing yours on the weekend. The chrome mirrors and handles were the only things I thought might look out of place. If I didn't do the flares black I would colour code them gunmetal.

Thinking the same thing Naff (although in Platoon of course). The only problem with black paint is they would look better in satin, but satin would mark too much out bush so the only other option if I want black is gloss with a clear coat but I'm not sure what that would look like when all the bar work and the wheels are satin black. Don't know what to do..... leave them grey, paint them platoon or paint them gloss black :?

I'm pretty disappointed in the Pearlescent Dark Blue.
Unless there is full sunlight, it just looks like black, and no-one wants their car to look black when it isn't :P
I don't think you can beat it when it is in the sun and the blue is at it's most vibrant, it's gorgeous.

The Ironbark in the brochure looked like baby poo, but in real life actually isn't too bad.
My theory is the best colour combination is: White ... but before you get too excited, look at the rest of my reasoning for this colour.
First you have to ensure your vehicle is the basic poverty pack.
Leave it stock as far as tyres and suspension etc.
Then register it in the NT where the number plates are deep maroon on white (similar to government plates)
Put a set of twin orange lights on the roof.
Get two huge stickers made, that say:
"I hate the Ford
RANGER"
but the first line should be in microscopically small font, and the second line in big black capital letters.

Now, if you should ever be somewhere - totally by accident - that you aren't meant to be, you'll be safe from anyone reporting you because they'll think your vehicle is something else ;)
And yes, this is all said in jest with my tongue in my cheek, I am definitely not seriously suggesting anyone attempt to make their vehicle impersonate one of those people.
I love Terra Firma - the less firmer the more terror.

Might be worth getting a couple of comparison photos of the duco's on the Coff's cars after the weekend :geek:
