Hey everyone, just need to clear something up, a bloke with an MN wants to buy my factory alloy bullbar from my ML. I'm assuming the mounting brackets will fit up perfect, however just wanted to check that the rest of the bar will. There is no guard cutting at all, and the bar doesn't come into contact with anything but the mounting points on the chassis. I'm thinking it would work. Just don't want to sell him a dudd.

Nudge bar or bull bar
My factory alloy bull bar for the MN required cutting just like the ARB bar

I'm still looking for a nudge bar, nobody wants to part with them for some reason.

I saw an ebay jobby for $300, stainless steel. Would this provide any protection or would it be as useless as the alloy?

Dave you wouldn't believe it, but my tapatalk will no longer upload photos. Been trying all morning. Will change it as soon as I get back home and can jump on a computer

Just for everyone's interest, the factory ML alloy tube bar bolts straight up to the MN. Sold mine for $200 to a bloke who will hopefully jump on the forum :)

Anyone know where to get a factory nudge bar for under the price the dealers want? One dealer quoted $600 the other $532. I had one on my new Triton but lets just say it has been modified to an unacceptable level by a reversing vehicle.

I really liked the nudge bar and want to replace it, but am trying to determine whether the polished stainless one from Everest for $285 is every bit as good. Am I missing something? Are the stainless ones so heavy I will be doing nose dives?

Second hand ones are a bit like rooster teeth.

Put an ad in the WTB section. I'm sure there's plenty laying around in people's sheds. I gave mine to a bloke at work who bolted it up to his challenger.

I'm eventually going to get rid of my ML Nudge Bar when I can afford a bullbar + winch set up.

Okay will do. It was actually because I didn't see an answer to Juggz WTB request when I searched, that I thought they were something you either didn't buy or bought and kept.

We'll see how I go.

Yes!!

You could of also searched for the answer to your question which has been asked numerous times before
Would have been quicker seeing as you're after a quick reply ;)

Probably not, Al, as "+ML", "+MN" included in the search yields 1148 hits and no real info on the first few pages... 196 hits if searched in "technical" and still no joy on the first couple of pages...

ML nudge bolted straight onto my MN GLX.
I got 2 extra mounting tabs welded on next to the driving light tabs for antennas etc.
Going to get some more welded on to fit a LED light bar mounted under the top horizontal bar.
Regards, Trevor.

Yep the mounts and bars are identical, the ML bar is a touch longer on the bottoms where it curves under the grill.

Tube bar as in Nudge bar?

I've got a potential opportunity to buy a factory ML Alloy bullbar with MN fitting kit for a very good price, but not sure if it'll bolt up without too much stuffing around/modding. I'm aware the bumper gets cut basically in half, but will the bar itself need modding?

Cheers
