I picked up a Berrima Diesel - Engine Data Scan Computer and their thumper compressor for $189 dollars for the pair. Have to say I'm really happy with the engine scan unit, heaps of different monitoring modes and fault code reading and clearing ability. It starts up automatically when the engine is stated and you can choose 4 different items to monitor,.

I also wondered about this item. After doing a google search (EDS vs Scangauge) I found a thread on a patrol forum discussing them. Seems like they have had a few problems and worst of all they are a rebranded chinese import. Search on eBay for Turbogauge. Only $90 odd dorra. Glad to hear yours works though.

My Ultragauge just died. Lasted 4 months. Still beeps and sounds like it's working but its not displaying anything. Ultragauge support suspect the lcd screen has died. Now I have to mail it back to the states.

Hey people, I stumbled across this little unit. Now it doesn't display or reset codes but for those looking to monitor temp it might be ok. It's pretty cheap. Has anyone used one?

Hi All

I didnt want to start a new thread on EDS/Scanguage etc.

I just brought one, and so far so good.. it works well with my MN Triton and my dads BT 50.

Only thing is its not much use (other than temps) if i have nothing to compare it to. Not sure what is good for reading for the MAF for example.

I have had a search on here for i guess the "parameters" or recommendations for the readings but i cant find anything..

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Brad

Chris

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?
