Pulled the intercooler off, gave it a good clean out, got rid of all the oil in it.
Also ran a can of decarb through the intake and gave her a polish.

Yes its a bit of a build up but the video in question will be up in the next month or so,

We have done the initial tuning but I am trialling it for about 2 weeks with everyday driving and a 800km round trip to make sure everything is 100%.

the video will have ALOT of detail going through the 90k service to the full tune and what we did!

It went very well, I don't have any way of measuring the intake temps at this point (one of my many mods to go), cleaning it was prompted by watching your video on how to do it. Thanks for having such an awesome YouTube channel.

How much of a pain is it to remove the intercooler, I watched your video but you never showed this part, how to actually get the intercooler out step by step, I was a little disappointed, good video regardless

Changed out my ARB fog light inserts that had gone discoloured and broken. Added some led lights that are a close fit. These are combination blinker position lights and switchable work lights by jw speaker

Its not difficult. From memory its just 3 mounting bolts and the in/out hoses. A bull bar makes access a little more difficult but not that hard. The only noteable thing is to take care with the metal gasket on the 'in' side hose.

Pretty much what Rangnarok said I didn't show it because its 3 bolts and the intercooler slides out.

I like lights
I will change out the halogen Ralliart lights at some stage to 90mm led varieties that are approved, already added a manual height adjustment switchClick to view larger picture

Just working out the next purchase, infill the fog light position or the headlight upgrade

There is always something

Given it a lotta love ( strange how cars are like women... to love it always costs money !  )... replaced right front driveshaft, upper ball joints, wheel bearings, brake rotors and shoes, 190k service, welded in the Superior Engineering chassis supports and replaced the bash-plate mounts I broke. Also fitted a front LOKKA. Next up is an overhaul of the electrical system.

So far been 6 wks not mobile with ankle fractures & torn ligament, checked garage & the mighty triton.
Was like seeing an unwashed dog in the pound wanting to be let out for a good run...
Few more weeks yet before I hit the dirt and fishing :(

Cleaned up the terrible install job i did on the a pillar snorkel bracket (i stuffed up the pop rivets, so the bracket was always loose).

I ended up welding the bracket to the a pillar , just touched it up with some paint and it is rock solid.

Well not today, but Sunday and yesterday... Pulled of the driving lights & bash plate and gave it a wash & vacuum in preparation for a trade-in eval.

Also put in a new battery as the previous one chose right now to die.
