Let my dad borrow it so he could get his Jeep lifted. When I got it back this afternoon I asked how it went.

"Bit of a beast mate". 8-)

Gave it a lonnng overdue oil/filter change. Nearly had an attack when I found the receipt for the bits.

Checked rear brake shoes - still 3.4 to 4mm of lining at 217k +.

Refurbished the anti roll mount on the gearbox using old suspension bush. :)

Now have to address the rear suspension squeaks which have only recently emerged. Seems the rubber/plastic cover on the shocks is one source, the spring leaf guides and front spring eye are all conspiring to drive me nuts.

Not today but over the past 2 weekends built a tray with the best workmanship I’ve seen in a long time by an old member. Tray has taken away the big ass and with the addition of a gull wing toolbox I’ll have plenty of storage once I’ve fitted it out with the fridge, 2 batteries and an array of electrical goodies.

Agree, his grass is very well kept. Edges trimmed too.

Oh! The Triton? I guess that's one way to halve your storage space and still look good.

Who did the welding Ken? :P

First pics are my brothers house and his lawn.

Garth got it in one, Kegsy was the man with the welder. Very particular and that’s what I loved.

Quite nice mate, a timbre deck would finish the tray off nicely,
Is that a ripple or dent I see in the front passenger side door?

The spare tyre will as with the shortness of the tray it’s squeezed in its original position atm. Also possibly a jerry can or 2, still undecided.

I changed a rear wheel bearing this arvo, not the easiest job to do. Gonna pull the other side out and make sure it feels ok and give it a bit more grease this weekend.
