The d- I quite like my unit although im still having an issue with the unit not starting up on cold days. Or something like that. It starts just not automatically. But my thought is that it's just one unlucky unit! Everyone else loves them!

That's interesting guys. I am considering getting one of these units.

Have you enquired as to why this happens?

I'm same as irwazza, it doesn't start up in the cold weather, really weird.
I have enquired with dig options an they put it down to a flat battery, it can't be a flat battery as I have installed a new battery and also have done a few long trips, so the battery is charged. I'll have to check my wiring and make sure the yellow wire is hooked up to constant power as its the "memory" power wire. But from what I know it's something to do with the cold.

well it cant be a memory wire otherwise everytime you turned the car off you would be always resetting the radio stations.

That's true, but are they stored on the unit itself? It's kind of like a computer? Unlike ur normal, radios

Mine goes automatically to 87.5fm (not saved in any slot) and then turns the volume up to about half way as well!!! I'm going video what happens when I turn the car on tomorrow so I can send it to dig options and see what they think!

So I have been in talks with Matt from dig options and he has been absolutely fantastic with helping me out with all this!! He has been talking to his supplier who have provided me with another update for my unit. I'm about to go install it and see what happens over the next couple days! Hopefully it will work :D . Irwazza, he is aware that you have the same issue as me so hopefully we can get a fix soon :)

Has there been any updates at all on these units or GPS navigation updates. I had mine for about 1.5years. Might have to send them an email to find out.

These updates I'm getting are from Matt at dig options to fix a few small issues with my unit, the latest one I installed this morning doesn't work properly. I'm still to email the details to Matt this afternoon but will prob need to step back an update as this is what I'm gettin now....

Like I have said in previous posts, these units are good and I personally have a few small issues that dig options are doing a top job trying help resolve them. Seems like I was unlucky an got one of very few units that has small issues (or im just picky), don't want to put people off buying these units :)

Wouldn't it be easy just to get a new unit. After all if it's only a few units not working well and all have similar problems, better them having one unit back at the warehouse for them to test and find a solution rather than going back and fowards and taking longer to solve

I received an email back from the manufacturer themselves today! They are pushing with their engineer to get this solved!
If you guys had access to a unit, I would go and try one out! There are plenty of members here with one!

Hey guys, how long would these things take to be installed (GLX with hood and facia surround) plus a reverse camera by a qualified installer if you don't mind me asking for a rough guess???
