Thank you I like your set up. Was it easy to do fabrication to fix it and do you know what cost was involved ?

Wouldn't say it was hard to fabricate, just time consuming. You could do an awesome job with fibreglass if you knew what you were doing! Can't remember sub and amp cost, but less than $50 for box and amp board.

Cool how do you make the box stay from not falling ? I mean the question is I don't want to drill any holes in the body how do you fit the box and how will it hold ? do you stick with something or drill holes ?

Can you see the bit of wood bolted to the front of the box? When the seat closes it pushes onto that bit of wood holding the box tight. You definently have to go a slim sub, that sub is 13inches

I'm wondering if any of these custom made subwoofer boxes have been actually tuned for the subs that they're holding. The right size and shape box can make or break any speaker, subwoofers included.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

The box I made is within spec of what the subwoofer manufacturers spec sheet says. I always take this in to account when making my sub boxes.
The box I made for my single cab had the sub mounted under the passenger seat but had an extended box going up the back of the seat to get the correct volume.

There is a lot more to enclosure design than just volume.
Clean sound doesn't like bends and obtuse angles.

Lines need to be drawn somewhere. I drew them at having the correct volume and sub sounds great. If you want a 100% tuned box don't bother trying to fit it behind the seat.

Amyh4n, unless your entering SQ competitions I wouldn't stress to much about the shape and angles of the box, just make sure you have the correct volume.

A smaller driver in a properly designed enclosure will always sound better than a big driver in a badly designed one.

i have 2 x 6" bazooka tubes running off an alpine single channel amp behind the back seats, plus a 4 chan amp for tbe rears and splits plus i have a fused power block direct from the battery, which then supplies the tub.

I have a Punch Stage 3 12" Shallow Sub mounted behind the rear passenger seat (it's screwed to the body to hold it in place).
