that comment was more about the projecta jobby, from what i read the Ctek is a DC-DC charger 100% duty cycle, the projecta is more of a Voltage sensing relay with unknown duty cycle (that will depend on how good the condition of your main battery and its wiring performs).
i am a big fan of the CTEK. i have alot of playing to do with that and how it works.
