fifth gear bearing noise 300k

looking for ideas for 07 ml
on rebuild ???
recon or low km boxes as my gearbox fifth gear is making the wurrr of death noise...so do mn boxes fit MLS...has anyone replaced their box..how much did it cost? looking for the best and cost-effective as always ..solution

300k, thats pretty good going mate. I would find a low km box and fit that if you got 300k out of the last one. Mine has done nearly 170k so hopefully will last a bit longer.
