Which rda pads did you use? So far I can see extreme, ultimax, gp max, I assume there might even be a standard version too?

Extreme, they were a package deal with the rotors.

I've been running this combo for the last 85000km's. Still going strong.

Hi everyone.
I have 10 mth old MQ, and from day one I haven't been happy with the brakes.
Yeah sure they stop, but give little confidence, should I need to stop in a hurry.

There is no real "bite" when braking.
So apart from the rotor & pad change done by Ultimate mentioned above, has anyone fitted an after market pad, along with a disc machine.

I've heard EBC 'Green Stuff Pads, and Bendix 4WD pads are good.

Any first hand experience or thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks, monstar

i dont have a mq but im running these ceramic pads with DBA T3 rotors and i reckon there great

the pads are made here in brisbane
http://qfm.com.au/

now i have spoken to a brake shop here in brissy and he is a bendix dealer and these QFM dealer
he prefers these pads over the bendix

so i said i give them a go
they work great no squeling little dust no brake fade and pull up my challenger very well

only bad i can say is that they take a bit more time to bed in then others and they feel a little spungy until bedded in
i thought i had air in lines but then it just disapeared after a couple hundy kms

i spoke with brake shop he said that is normal trust me it will go away and it did they just get better and better
i have had on there now for some time and the rotors are still looking great i thought that the pads being ceramic would eat the rotors but nope still look great after 30k+ on there
one day when this dam heat drops under 30+deg c i will pull of the calipers and have a captain cook at what it looks like in there ....

but yer great combo
i dont have any affiliation to these brands

just my opinion
cheers pete
