snake racing fella's, bout 100bux delivered, braided and bout 2-3 inches longer, and covered in plastic. hilux's have the same problem, it is a must, coz the last thing you want is a busted brake line, not knowing about until you need those brakes at the end of a decent.

heres a pic, its the blue line

Do you think I will need it with the Ironman performace kit I am fitting or is because you fitted the constant load springs?
Has anyone experienced this problem with the ironman performance kit.

Hey Gfm.
I think you may need it as it's not the springs that are that cause it's because the new shocks have 2 inches longer travel. It not a biggie as my last 2 patrols and 100series i own i had to fit longer brake lines. It shouldn't cost much more then $100 fitted. I only found it out by accident. Cheers

mine aren't tight at all.. maybe because your using blocks to lift it gives you further droop where ive got modded factory springs full droop hasn't changed

When I got my price from ATS in Geelong for bilsteins and springs , part of that was for brake line extensions.

Hey tritor no i have ironman constant load springs in the rear and greaseable standard length shackles and on full droop the brake lines where very tight. I'm not even going to take it in for the first service until i fix them as i don't want then breaking on the hoist.

I replaced my rear brake lines today should be much better now. I got them 6inches longer in case i go a higher lift. They cost$35 each (2off) plus 1 hour labour fitting plus GST. Total cost was $154 fitted and brakes blend. They where fitted at Noble Park Brake and Clutch. Cheers

I've got the Dodinson Kit in mine with the 2" longer shocks. I have just fitted lifting blocks to make the ute sit up staight when loaded. My brake lines were ferm but not to bad. All I did was bend the brackets back on the diff to face each other. This as made them ok.
