Sunglasses holder wont close

Hi does anyone know how to fix this? Suddenly it wont snap back to close anymore. I removed it but have no clue how to fix this. Appreciate any advise.

You might have to remove the sunglass bit, must click out or spring or screw ?
Maybe something is caught behind it ?

If no joy they are pretty cheap to replace, don't really remember but think l only paided $35 for one from the stealers to put in my over-head console. You could also try TritonWreckers, but as Duck said, probably only a spring come lose.
Better to be silent and thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt.[

There is a metal pin that falls out. It only a few millimeters long. I used a pop rivit shart and cut it. Bit fidly to get in but worked a treat. No pictures unfortunetely.

Thank you! I was trying to think what I could use to replace the lost pin, and a cut down rivvet shaft did the trick. Perfect.

I ended up having to do this twice. First time, as soon as the sun heated the roof up the epoxy gave way so went and got some high temp epoxy and it has so far hung in there. WIll see how it holds up over summer. Pretty piss porr design though. Very weak
