ML Parrot Bluetooth Volume

G'day all; 09 ML with factory (Parrot) Bluetooth paired to iphone 6. Hands free works fine but is bloody loud and can't turn it down either on head unit or phone, no change. Phone shows Parrot VM 3.20 Bluetooth version. Anyone got a fix for this or is new head unit the answer??
