yea i also had my EGR vavle closed to a while back,
basicly for emissions reasons, we have our EGR, which basicly recirculates the exhaust gass back up then down the downpipe.
anyways closing the EGR will have u slightly more bottomend power, with about 8=9% added torque with better economy though, and dyno proven to produce less black smoke..from .21 to about .17
just replace the egr gasket-multi gasket with a thicker soild peace, 1.22mm to efficiently close the system.
