about to fit hard tonneau and roll bar...

Hey guys,

I managed to pick up a hard lid and sports bar for my ML GLX 06 , has anybody here fitted this stuff before ?
I imagine there is not much to it but figured its worth asking..... :?

Have a search there is a thread brett and i were going through an install about a year ago. I couldn't be a$$ed otherwise id find it :lol:

hehehe, yeah found it, thanks mate. Looks like a slightly bigger job then first thought ... :roll:

I am picking the lid up tomorrow night.... not sure how thats gonna work either considering I dont have roof racks ! , perhaps some rope will hopefully keep it on the tray....

I fitted mine in the guys driveway, took about an hour i spose to get it on. Do take ur time if you have it, mine doesnt fit perfect, i have a small overhang gap at the tailgate that i keep thinking must be from the intall but i think theree must be small variation in model tubs. I cant move the front hinge anywhere :?

cheers trumpy, the more info the better so much appreciated bloke.

I dont have alot of time this weekend am thinking I wont bother trying if it means rushing it, plus the roll bar probably wont show till next week anyway. Definately be taking my time, especially when I am angle grinding the cargo barrier off the back near the rear window.... :?
