You posted this last year but I just found it and used it to compare fitting different rims and tyres to a cab chassis without the wheel arch flares and it's brilliant! Now I know exactly how much would be hanging out or not and which offset to get for the perfect result.

No dramas, i am sitting here on nightshift trying to work out new wheels (with different offset) and bigger tyres for my pajero and i had forgotten about this - so thanks for bumping it

Old thread but if you want to try using a decent wheel/tyre/offset calculator try this one instead. As well as wheel + tyre size and offsets you can put in fender clearance, wheelwell clearance, suspension clearance and your scrub radius and it lets you have 2 sizes up at once to compare what you have to what you want and if you scroll down you get a heap of info on speedo correction, how much further out it will poke, brake clearance and a heap of other stuff.
