Pro Comp tyres

Postby Peruano on Mon Jun 01, 2009 7:53 am

Anyone running any of the Pro Comp tyres?
Any thoughts or experience with them otherwise?
I've been looking at the Xtreme all terrains or the mud terrains but haven't heard many reports about Pro Comp.

Cheers,
Pete

My brother in law ran them in 37" - loved them, on and offroad.

I have heard they are a great tyre, just expensive.

Did you ever end up getting a price for the Xtreme Muddies Peruano?

They're a wicked looking tyre & I've sent them a quote request but just thought there may be some rough prices floating around here.

Pro Comp Xtreme A/T Tyres

Postby redrover on Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:59 am

I've searched high and low but haven't found any threads relating to members running Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrains.
Is there anyone out there with these tyres on their Triton and if so, what are your thoughts on them?
I'm tossing up between the Pro Comps, Cooper S/T Maxx, and Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 rib. Of these, the only ones I have personal experience of are the Mickeys.
Cheers guys.

Hey mate, this thread probably would have been a better place to ask instead of starting a new thread ;)
viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2827&p=40868&hilit=pro+comp+xtreme#p40868

Having said that, motoz appears to have been running them (or similar) at some stage...
viewtopic.php?f=36&t=12763&p=306539&hilit=pro+comp+extreme#p306539

Might be best to send him a pm....

Maybe mods can merge this into the existing pro comp thread?? ;)
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???

Thanks Fridgie, I hadn't come across that thread. I've been using Tapatalk so searching hasn't been quite as clinical as it would be on an actual computer. Happy for it to be merged and keen to hear any responses regarding the tyres.

Cheers motoz, it doesn't look like the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's I'm looking at have found their way on to many Tritons yet.
They seem to get a pretty good rap on other sites but I was hoping to hear of someone's specific experiences with them on a Triton.
