Thought some may be interested in my bead breaker.
Similar versions have been around for ages.
Works very well.

If you carry a high lift jack they are perfect for breaking beads to. Just jack up with the base plate over the edge of the bead. ;)

I can see some play time with a FBH and the welder coming up ;)
what size is the curved plate that breaks the actual bead?

what size is the curved plate that breaks the actual bead

I made the unit from scrap steel out of my shed.

Curved piece was made out of flat plate 50mm x 6mm. ( 3 pieces of 82mm long welded up on their edge)
Base plate made from flat plate 100mm x 3mm (cut square 100mm x 100mm).
Extra hole was drilled into the jack base plate.

Cheers
