what was the rim width and offset?
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

need to check the tyre size again as well- that size as you wrote is 34"
reasonably rare size....

usual
285/75/16 or
285/70/17
both the above run to 33" or near 830mm diameter.

rim width and offset has a lot to making 33" tyres work in our tritons, will fit with standard offset but you won't get the aggressive stance (or track width stability benifits)

the further out the rims go (agressive) the more problems with the tyres hitting the guard.

Sucks to be you, glad I bought a 3.2 :o

Yep it can't be out near zero (where they look better) or it would be rubbing big time.
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

I've got 285/65 R18 or 33 x 11.5 on a 8.5" rim with +30 offset and they just rub. It's often a trade off bigger tires less offset or in kyles case just got the guts out of the wheel arch and your away ;)

There was slight rubbing with the wheels at 45 deg and mild flex. I performed a little inner guard massage and all seems well.

:D

Doesn't look too bad to be honest.

If I can sell the 285's I'll buy some 265's and all will be sweet.

Truck looks tuff man. I'm still accumulating funds for my aggressive setup.
Now I've decided to go with the same Pro Comp wheels I mentioned before with 32" M/Ts and Ultimate's 2" lift kit.
Hopefully within the next 2 months I'll have parts bought and installed.

Post more pictures of your aggressive setups guys! These trucks look awesome.
