looks a little steep, take a pic where the upper bumpstop is, there should be clearance there

The top bump stop, which is actually the lower, has been removed.
I suggest putting it back in

Bud it won't fit unless I get the aftermarket half height ones?

Suppose they be better than none?

Problem solved fellas cheers.

Ordered and fitted the half height bumps stops.

Also was running the tyre a little higher PSI than whati thought I was  so have adjusted these and the jarring on the seepd bumps has next to disappeared.

Thanks for the help and feed back much appreciated.

MN are 540mm from the factory (centre rim to bottom of flare) 575mm is about the limit you can lift them and still have good suspension travel so really a 1" lift (ML where 520 so 575 would be a 2" lift)

More than likely you have "lifted" a little too far. CV angles become a problem.

Or just simply trim the existing ones in place......

I suggest putting back the upper bump stops and use a Spacers above the top ball joint
they sell them on ebay,
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Mitsubishi ... 2749.l2649

also is necessary to use Extenders for bump stops on lower arm.
like this
https://tuning4wd.ru/e-store/product/su ... n_L200_25/

will make your can running smooth like stock

the Blistien struts allow for 2 positions, and the "helper spring" bit to combat the bulbar suggests that they might have set it at the higher position.

If this is the case you will be able to reuse everything you already have, just need to relocate the bottom coil holder to the lower position, not something you can do at home, but cheaper than new stuff.

Would you be able to tell me a little more about those Bilsteins? It looks like in your picture it is in the middle position of 3, is that correct? The ability to adjust the ride height up or down about 10mm would be really great for what I want.

Do you know the model number? Is it the only/standard Bilstein for an MN Triton? I would hate to order them and have something different show up.

You will note they are not on the Triton. I had 2 fail and no warranty under 60,000kms old

The new model Outback Armour has variable height adjustment coils

these also have an adjustable fixed collar, there are quite a few with this feature

Yikes! :o Thanks for the feedback, Bilstein seems like such a reputable, trustable name. Perhaps not.

Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't look like either of those are distributed in Indonesia where I'm at (though perhaps I could arrange import). The ones I know are available are Bilstein, OME, Raw4x4, Profender, Ironman, and Tough Dog.

Jason Mc If you need short bump stops you are probably riding a bit high in the front than is practical. This puts stress on the CV joints as they are always working closer to their full range of movement. This increases the wear rate on your CV's.

If you are keen you could fit a diff drop to sort out the CV angles whilst retaining your current ride height. Depends on what you want to do with your vehicle.
