Hmmm as I thought, my springs are sagged. 385mm I've got. Do you have you old measurements mlvr08? When I installed my springs they were second hand and I only got 25mm. I was just trying to reference to see if they have sagged more since the tray.

Nah sorry - im only running snake racing shakles and stock leafs - but mine are inverted, and in need of another leaf added and then reset etc. Not too sure what i need to do, but cant afford a new set of ultimates ones. I have a $6000 cape trip coming up in june, and just spent $1500 on goodies....

Well i need to get the front in mine sorted out.. Now that im running dual batteries and the winch, the front end has dropped to 540 both sides that running tough dog struts and dobinson springs...

Its about time i pulled my finger out and put in the set of dobinsons i have had lying around for to long now....

Does any one have a template for the top of the strut, so i can make up some spacers?

The coils are completely different between the brands. Wire diameter, free length, number of coils, quality of material and manufacturing process all play a big part in the spring rating and performance. Looking at the picking slip, the vehicle should have been lifted to around 565-570 in the front. I have sent a PM and we will work out what's happened and what needs to be done to fix it.

Just about to upgrade to ultimate 2inch lift.

Currently have canopy/draws/roofracks with ladders tools etc etc.
Up front have bullbar and winch (synthetic cable).

On the scales she comes in at 2700kgs.

On existing stock suspension:

Driver front : 535mm
D R : 525mm

Passenger Front : 515mm
P R : 527mm

Stay tuned... :)

That weight has really killed the back end. It's got to be close to the bumpstops by now?
