Without the diff drop ,the movement of shaft and the inner cv stops before the end of the cup.
With the diff drop maybe the cv have less angle, but the shaft push the cv in the end!!!
So let's go....

Here you can see the differense..The green mark is the end of the cv on full drop and hitting the end of the cup.....the orange mark is end of the cv with the longer control arms...

But some of you maybe thinking..."ok...longer arms without longer shafts???"
Mitsu have the solution....longer cv cups from another mitsu!!
Grey are the new cv cups

...maybe longer shaft will be better, but with our front suspension is useless......with much longer arms yes...

That's all!!!
I have put a spacer on the lower bumpstop....and the full travel on the hub is about 19-20 cm with safety..
Now the triton with new setup front and rear it must to do some klm to seat at the right place to do some adjustments.

For me this is the end of the era for the wisbones!!

Next project live axle with 9.5" mitsu diff for the front.........will see when!!!

Here's the challenge Stef.

Live axle with rack and pinion mounted on the axle tube. How to link this to the steering wheel?

Hydraulic?
Don't let the b'strds get you down!!

Awesome work as usual.

lucky Mitsubishi keep lots of stuff "generic", you didn't try and graft the pajero hub onto the triton and retain the better brakes for the front?

I forget what the issue was when I checked the gen 4 pajero hub with the triton, but with your level of modification/ fab that wouldn't have been a problem
