Bilstein V's Ironman shocks

Below is a picture of the failed spring plate on the Ironman shock. Note that this is supposed to be one peice. i suspect that this has been broken for some time and only failed during the hard impact.

below is the picture of the two grooves to choose from on the Bilstein strut. I have chosen the lower option for now and will move it up if i need to.

Huge difference in the spring size compared to standard too hey, also finished better with proper flat (parallel) ends as they should be.

Boosted when you install the complete unit leave about 5 to 6 mill gap between the spring and the lower seat stops the spring shunting on compression........BTW good choice with the Billies.... let us know how the King springs go :?:

Well its all in and ready for a wheel alignment. I have about 5mm of clearance betrween the bump stop on the upper control arm now. This should bring my nice feeling suspension back. The front end seems much softer now too so i will see how it all goes
