Are you in Newcastle Qball ?

I tried to talk to them and was not happy with service/talk/opinions/advice/knowledge of Tritons, hopefully it was a bad day for whoever I talked to and your experience is better.

In Vic,

Local tyre/suspension guys carry koni, raw, tien etc he seems to be pretty positive on the product.

Was hoping someone tried them on the Triton. Oh well looks like i will be the guinea pig.

cheers,

The best way to know about Raw would be to suss out through your local guy where there stuff comes from to better gauge and compare, someone else must make their coils and leafs, it may be that they are made by King or Dobinsons to their specs/spring rates etc. Underneath the Raw stickers on the shocks wil be another brand as well either to the original brands specs or to Raws revalved specs.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with that at all and the world is full of rebadging it will at least help you with your decisions, you might find that you have scored well big time with name brands behind the scenes and RAW supporting there product big time. Or the opposite :)

If you can get that background it will help because I dont know.

Why I asked where you are from is that RAW are from Newcastle and so am I that was all.

Thanks for the tips.
King coils are going on.

I will have a chat to the local today and see what else he has to say.

I had a look at them at the recent Melbourne 4x4 show. Looked very well made and very thick shocks. I was quoted $2000 for a 2" kit for the Triton. (excluding install)
If I had the money I would already have them on my truck. I might still go down that path as I was very impressed with what I saw...

Keep an eye on thick rear shocks as they may rub on the springs when off road.

Just had them installed. Will post pics.
Triton feels like a completely different beast now.
Impressed.
