Yikes, Hagen.
There has been some talk about shudder on take off so i guess someone who has been lucky enough to lift yet may have some answers.

http://www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/f49/ml-triton-shuddddddder-41980/index3.html
written by tritor

shudders caused by bad pinion angle on the diff.. i have 3 of these cars.. the single cab has slight shudder from factory.. when theres load in the back it goes away..my triton is lifted 55mm.. has it reall bad.. didnt have it before.. ive since put 2 degree camber wedges in the back.. its almost gone away nownever bothered fixing it.. need to rotate the diff to get the right pinion angle on the front of the diff, however from factory it shouldnt do it unless youve raised it
Nah I had no problems but I did get a laser alignment done and noticed a massive difference. Try that before hitting up the fitter.

Hmm you're up 40mm plus carrying around a bar I wonder if that's keeping your drive shaft angle close enough?

ARGH!!! Scary! I just organised to pick up the dobinsons kit this morning!

The guy I spoke to knew of the vibrations but thought that it was only occuring in cars that had some vibration already IOW the lift just made it more noticeable. Now mine doesn't have any vibration and I wont be leaving the kit in there if it does :(

Have a look at the thread over at 4WD monthly there's a guy there who works for mits and is supposed to be sending me a copy of the fix report for the shudder.
