Inline fuel filter / water trap

My cousin in-law, who has a MN same as mine, is visiting us in WA from Adelaide and he has told me his dealer in Adelaide southern suburbs has told him that at his next service they will, if he wishes, fit an inline filter/water trap. No mention was made of a price, has anyone heard of this offer?

His service due is 30K.

Mine is about to go in for 60K service.

Not heard of the offer but a few of us have done this on our own back. Be no use unless a 2um filter and fitted after the factory unit.
