05 glxr service

hi ,i just bought an 05 glxr turbo deisel.it didn't come with the owners manual and i have no idea of what model it is or what motor is in it.i want to do a service on it on the weekend.if some one could tell what model it is ,i'd realy appreciate it .

It is a MK Triton, the model before the main one here you will read about, the site is mainly about the ML which is 06 onwards. There are still current MK owners or previous amongst the members.

I have a 05 mk triton 2.8 turbo diesel I'd put a catch can on it clean out the intercooler blank the egr valve uni filter snorkel

how much oil do these things take mate,i put 5lt in and it only just registers on the dipstick.the oil light's not coming on an its not rattling.
