Some was wet and uber slippery and some was pretty dry..

Having 500Nm of torque on tap from that electric motor would certainly be helping.

There are a couple of downsides, however: the Triton EV can't be driven through deep water and, at 2100kg, it's a fairly heavy beast.

Why does an electric Triton need a snorkel? :?
Chris

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

To provide clean air into the cooling system of the electric motor. Thought it was strange also.

Then 5 of the 6 stages.. well. Yeah, little bit difficult but not what I would call hard, like at all. Definately do it again. It was fine. I had a few goes at stage 6, but nearly tipped over LOL. (as in you could walk under my rear wheel it was over that high LOL!) It was getting dark so called it day and didnt attempt it again.

At work we would call that a near miss. Could have been reading about a roll over recovery.

Well done Stiddy.

I say congrats to Stiddy for giving it a good crack and having fun. Good onya... 'cause that what this is about.

I agree warnings were valid, and frankly, I would want warnings myself, so I don't go and get stuck, damaged, or worst case scenario -dead somewhere, and it could have been prevented.

To all the posers out there carrying on about all of this... pull your heads in... a bloke was wanting to have fun, chose a track, was warned about the consequences if sh!t went wrong, went ahead agreeing to the risks, had some fun, made the tracks and now is sharing his experiences for others to enjoy.
