Had a few fault codes happening lately.

P0107 and P1272. Also had two symbols side by side appear. Its vehicle with 2 squiggly lines underneath with the words off under the first.

Why is failed limiter not in the above list?

Can still fail if incorrectly installed. And depending which version some of them will still release pressure if pushed hard enough

Was this a coincidence.

The day before my gearbox decided to spit out several teeth, I had removed my badly munted 3mm bash plates.

It was not driven until the following morning when the event happened straight away.

So a recap. Sunday afternoon vehicle parked in carport and bash plates removed. Car not driven until the following morning, when, as soon as it was put in reverse the weird sounds occurred damage was done.

Is it possible the damage was done via the bash plate? pushing on the gearbox? what telltale signs externally on the gearbox would there be.

Unlikely, I'd say. Any damage to the gearbox that might have caused a shaft or gear to misalign would be readily visible from the outside.

My ultraguage hit 97C today while coming back from Bunbury. Stiiting on 100 towing as usual.

Has hit 96C recently as well doing 80 towing. My MY14 has had the campaign done and I have some mods.

Usually sits on 89C even in 40+ days towing.

going in for 45K service as well.

Cruise control being a PITA works about 70% time.

Had both the car warning lights light up on the dash twice.

P0107
P1272

Whats 45K service cost and what extra should I get done

check your chip plug connections as the last code is the rail limiter sensor inplug and replug to get nice good clean fitment
first code is the map sensor to low

Mine has done 120 000kms and those temps are normal for me when towing up a decent hill have hit as high as 99 but comes straight back down after the hill. I haven't had any issues from it so far.

So cruise control has crapped itself again as well as engine light and other lights on dash as well as stalling.

Last time they adjusted the brake switch which seemed to fix the issue.

I am in at the stealers again now and asked about getting it replaced under warranty. I was told that they can only do it if they can see the fault.

There are no engine codes and engine starts fine. Cruise control may or may not be working after restart and intermittently works.

This time when the car stalled I was on a country road with no shoulder with cars behind me

Lucky there were no trucks.

Do i even both contacting anyone?

Now they are saying its Dynamic Range Communication.

Asked me to keep my ultraguage unplugged and see if it continues to happen.

Told them lots of owners have these obd devices on their trucks and don't have the problem.

Have just lodged a ticket with ultraguage outlining the issues and see what they come up with.
