Yeah, when i bought it, it only came with two either side. That's the next item I need to look at.

Funny enough, this one sits higher then my last one, sold the step compatible tow bar and got this glx one. I will probably look at drilling new holes and raising it.

Good question mate

Needed 4 people to get her on, without the sides and rear rack. That addition didn't add a whole lot of weight, but definitely added weight. As far as economy goes, I'm getting around 10/100 and 600+ a tank (It's usually over 600 when fuel light is on). So not too bad on the economy front.

If I were to change one thing: Use ally sheet for the floor and headboard, as the steel sheet added a lot of weight.

Starting to get a camping setup going with the tray. While I save a bit for the canvas, I started fitting my toolbox out.

Lined it with marine ply and carpet, fed the main battery feed to the box and started a 12v setup.

Next up will be 4 rocker switches for the toolbox light, camp light, tray light and awning light.

Sorry for the late reply, you've probably made your decision already. But tbh for what I use my ute for I like it. I personally think the shorter tray looks better and still has plenty of room for what I use it for.

You're right. Already made the decision.. new canopy is 1400 long and I like it so far

Have done a bit more work on the tray. Welded on same internal beams, got a sheet of ally for the top as a roof and may canvase the rest down the track.

Moved the awning from roofracks to the back so I could utilise the toolbox a bit better when camping.

Also got around to putting my patrol rims on too.

Replaced my front struts as they were what after the 60k or so I've had em in.
Got them to put some trim packers in (finally) to lift the front. Cvs are still on a Good angle and hasn't caused any drive line vibrations or issues.
