Ok, been a while.... ;-)

Only thing done recently is new front springs to lift the front up a bit due to the excess weight, this then revealed another prob in that my passo cv is not in a good way and on full droop causes the whole front diff to move as it rotates

Well, that and the last lot of repairs

Fronts were sitting way too high at install but have settled down quite a bit, still feels weird driving atm as is a lot firmer in the front end but def better than before :-D

Although, currently sitting a bit crooked (higher by a decent margin on passo front) but hopefully once I get a new cv fitted (and ball joint, thread stuffed one 1 bolt hole) and get a few more k's on it it will come back in line better. Will wait till the 1000km check on the front to see if I need to do anything there.

Here she is straight after the install

What sus you running on the front now fridgie?

With a new set of cv's you'd be lucky to get 20'000 kay.

I've had mine sitting at 3 inh on the front and the passenger side cv shat itself over the weekend.

I think mitsu is going to be changing it out of good will but as soon as i do I'm going to be dropping the fronts down to about 2 1/4 for safety measures.

Until a diff drop kit is produced i'll just leave it there.

Ps rigs looking good!

Running ultimate 2" lift with heavy duty front coils and coil spacers, straight after fitting was 600+ but after a bash up the beach it settled down around 580 (pretty much the height I was aiming for)

The cv is a bursons one, so just needs replacement, the front locker tends to eat them a bit now, with the way I drive  still learning how to protect them ;-)

//it's much cleaner now BB, that was after the Teewah trip and before a wash ;-)

You said that the front locker chews them now???

Is chewing cv's a common thing for tritons or something ? even at 2 inch ?
Hw long should i get (Lifespan out of a set?)

what would i be looking at to buy a complete set of cv's with boots etc?

Sorry bout all the questions , i should look for a thread .

It only chews them when he goes above 2 inches.

Chewing or otherwise depends on the tracks and the driver. I've seen one weekend where we did half a dozen and others where there were none broken at all.

Your lifespan will be minimal if you keep running above 2 inches.

Less than $200 each for the Bursons. They're on ebay and all (last time I looked anyway). They don't appear to be as strong as the OEM though. OEM brand new can be over a grand. Closer to $200 from a wrecker.
The Hitchhiker's guide to the the Triton universe and NTN.

A how to on finding your own way - search me.

The two threads I wish people would use more: thing 1 and thing 2.
