Well this thread died for a while ;)

Clutch has been replaced with a custom built jobbie, bites like a bastard and has a bit better feel than the hd offering, been in for a bit over 1000k's now and been pretty happy with it (although haven't put it through one of my 'excursions' as yet  )

Have done a bit more to her, fitted a tjm rear bar courtesy of homer 8-) but will have to wait for pics as she's currently away for a spa treatment where hopefully she'll come back looking a million bucks ;) 8-) Fingers crossed I can pick her up mid next week

(she might look slightly different than before too ;) )

Currently working out the logistics and repairs required to mount a 7" tablet in place of the multi function display to run torque, music, video and navigation. Hopefully not going to be too difficult :?

So basically, the above is a result of:

New front and rear flares on drivers side,
bullbar repaired and resprayed,
tub repaired on both sides,
rear bar resprayed,
sliders resprayed,
flares colour coded,
full polish and

an interior clean as well

OK, so I've looked at the piccies 3 times now and I'm going to admit that Daisy might even be shinier than mine. :P

Nah, looks good Fridgie. 8-)

Well, after an epic weekend trip totalling roughly 1500km I'm am very happy with how things seem to be operating at present. Although, my intake temps did get up a bit after some extended highway topping speed, considering I had probably just over 500kg in the tub and ambient was around 30C and the extended was one of a few 3 or 4hr non stop legs (only stopped for fuel)  she cooled down quickly though when given the opportunity and coolant never went above 86deg

Kept a bit of a mental tally and just did the sums, pretty much every fuel stop was like this: 389km travelled on odometer, 38.7lt fuel, 101.4km travelled, 10.1lt fuel, etc.... You'd think that would make it easy wouldn't you

My odometer shows an interesting view on reality so the adjusted usage then comes in at 9.5/100 with all mods and over 500kg plus driver plus fuel on 32's sitting at an average speed of 120kph in 30deg weather with the air con on  8-)

Love that Daisy, she's paying me back for getting her all pretty again :-D

Called around to Fridgie's place this morning and have to admit, Daisy is looking so much better. Love the colour matched flares and black bar work....:-)...don't forget that recovery hitch I dropped off Fridgie
