That rear end articulation is just amazing Stef.

How do find driving in general with that suspension regarding body roll etc ?

The difference between day and night!!!
I was thinking that the rear stabilizer maybe will limit some of the articulation(or maybe break of too much angle!).....but no,it's fine.In this place the front stabilizer bar was disconnected.
On the road is a litle stiff(as I like)but the coilovers are adjustable. The springs are 200lb upper and 300 lb the bottom(I had orderd 250 for bottom but I think there isn't too much difference). When I changed the pressure on front shocks, from 150 to 180 psi it passes like a train on the road curves!!

I'm sick of it mates!
"When we do plans.....the God laugh "we say here!
I thought that was the time for the next mod...live axle at front .But this bloody motor have an other opinion..
Until now the temps are really good, even in uphill with load no more than 92-93......on highway, when I push it, 150-170 kph,86-88 deg.
My wife have the ute, and she drive 8-10 klm per day.
I was ready for a small trip.... suddenly the scangauge 115 very quickly, and the needle of car gauge stayed about 90...after a few seconds start to going up, but not in red line.
Now, there is no overheating problem (on the 8-10 klm no more than 75-80 deg).....there is pressure in the system, and the overflow bottle every time have 150-200 grams more coolant.

Anyway......if there is another problem ,except egr cooler, I'll throw it away!!!

There are 2 options for new engines
4m41 >08
BMW n57

On 4m41 might need help because here there aren't on Triton.....and as I can see there two engines, one have more power and vgt turbo

Not good mate.
The 4m41 out of the Pajero would be a better option for you assuming it is the same spec as the aus model.
It doesn't run the VGT turbo.

Here in Europe there are 2 models 4m41 on paAndjero
118-125 kw
140-147 kw vgt
But, as you said, 4m41 is better option. And many spare parts , like engine mounts etc. easiest to find

Thanks....will see

I could be wrong, as I have not checked mine, but I believe the Aust spec 5 speed gearboxes have an incorporated bell housing which makes changing to the 4M41 difficult. Don't know if you have a Man or Auto.
You need to go with the Pajero auto or an ML gearbox.
I am planning on transplanting a Pajero 4m41, auto and transfer. Discussions and measurements so far indicate it can be done

The 4M41 has a different bell housing pattern to 4D56. Someone was putting a Pajero CRD 4M41 into a PB Challenger (wagon version of the Triton) in Australia. He had to cut the existing engine mounts and weld in new ones. If running an auto I would buy an engine and gearbox from a NS 2006-2008 Pajero. If you have a manual I would try to pick up a later model engine and gearbox. Good Luck Stefano. You have done some impressive work on your triton.

HI Lost1.
Yesterday was the last day that my ute turn on!!!!The engine wasn't start (like empty battery)...and when start a big white fog comes out from the exhust!!
I don't know yet ....I know that isn't easy.And Ihave already low range gears in a box :( :( :( :(
The engine mounts maybe isn't too much problem...or maybe with a bellhousing adaptor it will be o.k.Not much info wiyh this mod here!!
Second option is BMW m57
Will see.

That's a pretty good number.

It's a bit sad that all the other things that kill people around the world every day have sort of fallen off the radar.

Have you considered going electric on your rig?

With your recent lift you could probably slide an extra stack of batteries under the beast.

Small supercharged stationery type diesel generator under the hood for off grid charging and range extention.
