Canopy looks tops! I'm in the process of building one for my tub, if you don't mind me asking what did they sting you for the canvas?

That wasnt cheap mate, there was a fair bit of mucking around with mine $800 was the final figure but that was with 100mm of felt backing right around the bottom to stop wear on the tub,we have had 2" of rain here over night and another 2 to come and not a drop inside so im happy with his job

Thats a great mate to lock the tailgate with a couple of window locks. Neat and out of the way.

is it awkward to get the key into, especially if there's all gear loaded up in the back?

Correct Viking they push in and click on a plastic cam to stop them coming out,but you can also lock them with the key if so desired

Can you get to them (to slide then out) through the cage?
I have and others do have an issue we're you can unlock the tailgate and pull..the gate until it breaks the canopy rear glass or the locks come away from the strikers..bang your in the canopy that's on an arb canopy..

No you can't on mine ,I pulled pretty hard on the tailgate and she is as solid as a rock,no chance of pulling it open with the rear canopy door closed unless you had a jimmy bar, which a pro robber would have but not the hack opportunists
