That mesh looks interesting. Where did you buy that? Does it have a particular name?

Hey mate, im just wondering if you are happy with the roof basket ? Does it seem to be made well or do you think you should have spent a few more bucks ?
Im only asking as i am looking for one myself and for the price they have them at supercheap, they seem hard to pass up. I only wanna put light stuff in, eg dome tent/swag , sleeping bag.
Thanks.

Yeah it was a last minuet decision before i headed up to Fraser Island as i ran out of room in the tub, they where on special at Super Cheap for $100.00 i ended up getting an Ridge Rider water proof bag with it aswell.
Very happy with it mate, seems strong enough i did the Fraser trip and a few up the high country and its still fine,it humms a bit without the bag in it but thats the only down side.

I only want one cos I'm going up to Myall lakes on the weekend or a bucks night and I will be taking 3 others in my ute. So being able
To put the swag and sleeping bags up top will def be a good space saver. Plus any trips down the track obviously same idea. Appreciate the feed back mate :D

Fitted a camera yesterday 170* angle ,water proof, infared which works great at night and sound,i ran it straight to my navman gps,i drew the power from the LH reverse light and ran the Av wires along the chassis and poked them through the large grommet under the passenger seat.
The thing i liked the most is when operating in normal gps mode as soon as you select reverse the camera comes on and displays on the gps,i thought i would have to select AV every time but she does it automatically, all up it cost $125.00 including a packet of cable ties and 2 F/F AV connectors

Very nice Dunga! Exactly what I've been looking for! Which Navman unit do you have? I've spoken to Navman retailers about the aux in feature and all they could tell me was that I'd have to select the input, not that it could do it automatically.
Cheers, Tom

Looking forward to seeing the final outcome! Canopies are way too expensive but definitely the way to go if you don't need to use it as a ute.

Looking very nice Dunga I must say, but very cheaky of whiteonedifflock to ask for the extra canopy that you are making for me, don't you hate mooches :D It would be nice to have the skills set to do that sort of work myself but alas, my car would end up looking like the Great wall ute for sale  Sorry Kegsy.
