Has anyone used the "ACE" ones on ebay? They are 1 piece instead of the normal 2 pieces, have recessed bolt holes too.
For the price they don't come painted though.
I was thinking of giving them a go. Plenty of vents on the front top part.

I prefer 4mm - thicker is stonger

Thicker is no doubt stronger but also will transfer more load to the mounts which may crack. 3mm may give a bit instead. Either way you'll be better off with aftermarket plates.

4mm for piece of mind. I kno id rather brake a mount and have to creep out carefuly then have my plate flex and damage my diff actuator or radiator or anything else under there that is going to stop the car from working. also its recommended to upgrade the mounts either way with 3 or 4 mm plates cause they will be the weak link.
