the rodeo is the Izuzu isn't it? which ended when they went Colorado and D-Max.

so we need to know what they call the Rodeo (Izuzu) in Europe.

ralli art snorkels

Postby Cowboy Dave on Thu Dec 02, 2010 7:36 pm

Last time I looked this up I found a table somewhere with all the different brand's part numbers. When I get on my computer instead of this slow iPad I'll see if I can find it again.

Why bother...is there an issue with the Unifilter I don't know about?
Available local, with replacement elements and seems to work well???

i have a Unifilter. We were talking on Stockton last weekend that the Uni is better than the K&N for filtration but probably not as good as some items. After i read the document referenced in this thread i started to get a little worried......

http://www.newtriton.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6198&p=102476&hilit=catch+can#p102476

it was then discussed there are some good filters that have passed some testing for both flow and filtration and hence the ITG post.

maybe we should start an aftermarket filter thread. Can you remove these last posts into one Homer?

What was the feedback from those assembled in Lithgow? Or were you too busy playing in the mud to suss out the snorkel?

woops missed this fell over a page in one day :o

It is in the hands of the installer whom has family problems atm so am definately not rushing it along as family always comes first!! ;)

The general consensus was impressed! Not as good a quality as your other brands off the bat obviously and will require some work so definately not for everybody yet...

be patient we are dedicated to the cause and I am aware of the interest :o

cant wait myself.....

count me in after chrissy of course
I reckon Ralliart would of put this in a wind tunnel at some point and seen the advantages
I beleive there are more than one manufacturer runnin similar systems in rallies of course
With it facing backwards i can only see benefits..... 8-)
No Bugs, no rain, less dust, longer filter life i could go on forever :x
with not havin a ram effect there would be no difference the turbo will suck what it needs
and it aint gunna gain psi at the other end of the turbo :D even tho that would be great
im gettin one !!!! dont need a letter box when im campin....

I will peel it completely off later.

Its a protective film applied to stainless steel or alloy for when its being prepared / cut / drilled to save the finish from being mared ... you should have peeled it off before you done up the self tappers
