I have a 2012 PB Challenger in Manual and average 9.4L/100ks. Now while i think it is brilliant coming from a 4runner with a V6 commodore engine in it averaging 18l/100 a work colleague has a 2012 triton glx that averages 8.2l/100ks.
He also is not mechanically minded and does not drive it to achieve any sort of fuel economy. Where i drive quiet economical.
Why is that? I know that the challenger might be a little heaver but not 100ks a tank of the same fuel qty...
Also doesnt anyone else notice that fuel economy is worse when using cruise control?
Yes, more fuel as it accelerates harder than you would to maintain speed up a hill and cant lift off as soon because it cant anticipate the crest as you can or other reason to slow down...

Also notice a bit of surging recently but car has only done 47000k's but missus does alot of short trips in it and SPV mod only been on the car for about 1 month. Carbon?
Amazing to see claims of under 7L/100 I'm jealous!
