Is there a dedicated website for challenger please?

Postby jacklee on Sun Jan 26, 2014 6:27 am

Hi guys,

Talked with my wife, looks there is no way for her to take triton as a family car. however, she agrees with challenger. Is there a dedicated website for challenger just like newtriton.net? Google it, did not find anything?

By the way, what were your tactics when you told your wife you want a triton? :D

put a canopy on the tri and its pretty close to a challenger for her ??? . If you got kids or dogs the triton is good as you can fit heaps in the back when camping etc . I haven't seen the inside of the back of a challenger but i'd imagine you wouldn't be able to fit as much in ? As far as the website i haven't seen one but the triton and challenger are pretty much the same so most things that go for the tri go for the challenger too .

Here (NewTriton.net) is where the sensible stuff is but if you want more variety go to here and have a giggle: http://www2.pajeroclub.com.au/forum/for ... y.php?f=51

http://www.monterosportonline.net/

It's a USA site. Don't know how active it is. Don't know whether there is anything of value but I used to frequent it when I had the previous shape Challenger.

One advantage the Tri has over the Chally is the separation between the cab and the canopy. In a crash/roll over the passengers are protected from the cargo. In a Chally you would need a barrier installed. BUT :x, the Chally has a much smaller bottom and is way shorter overall therefore is easier to park etc. Still has a huge boot BUT

The link Killa provided is dedicated but to add to what he said...it is boring as bat #%!# and so I am sure NewTriton will win the popularity contest. There are a few Challengers on here.

There is also a "Challenger Owners" club on Facebook that is growing and it would be a 60/40 PA/PB split.

Maybe we just need to be better organised and throw up some dedicated Challenger threads?

Anyone have any comments to 4wd26's question? I'd be happy to set up a challenger related area for those with challengers if there was interest?

Yep chuck one up 8-) .
Could populate it with a few of the existing threads by moving them in maybe? I did a battery one that sits in the rear quarter panel for instance.

Would be useful for rear draws, roof racks, towbar, cargo barrier type questions.

Moving some threads sounds like a great idea.

Would make searching much easier....is there a way we could help you nominate which threads to move?

Cool as, keep all links in here and once Admin sets up the new challenger section we will move them over ;)

Once that is done you could probably pm one of the mods if you find more that would be suitable or we may even keep this thread...

I've moved the 3 nominated threads as well as nearly all threads with the word challenger in the thread title. I've also copied 2 threads from Ultimate's area which are put in there for ease of reference only. The originals will stay in the sponsors area for any correspondence people was to have with them.

There are a few challenger titles in the intros area. I haven't moved those at this stage but if you have a challenger build-up thread you'd like moved by all means flag it one of the mods and we'll get it done.

Now there's a dedicated home for Challengers here with out the sniggers from the locals about the Challenger being more superior off-road due to it's coil-over rear end, I'll post here a lot more
