26 did you score an invite because of your role in this group?

Yes Mitsubishi Australia recognised the value of our forum, we have over 18,000 registered members ;)

it was great to get an invite, and should be the start of future involvement by Mitsubishi Australia in the forum, already happening with "motorculture" involvement and the Mitsubishi motors Australia as sponsors

Motorculture are the Mitsubishi presence in social media ;)

hoping to get some involvement in our forum social events as well, working behind the scenes to get involvement next weekend to a QLD meeting/ camping trip to LCMP 8-) 8-)

Great report 4wd26, just had a reread.
looks like im getting a MQ Triton now, got the call today about my MN GLR Club Cab and its a total loss after the crash on wednesday.....
From your test drive do you think there will be any issues with the intercooler hanging down low when off road? or was it high enough to not take any hits?
Do you thing fitting stainless steel bash plates will give it enough protection even when they get bent?
Plan on going to look at the dealers this weekend but don't think they will let me take one bush.

it didn't take any hits while on Fraser
BUT it was worth noting for potential buyers that were prepared to go offroad

lots of people have been caught out on the ML and MN having damaged the actuator or switch, this has just transferred the problem area to another spot.

the intercooler was a popular repair on the MN pajeros due to inadequate bash plates for those looking to explore limits ;)

The Gen 4 Pajero has the intercooler mounted low at the front. The usual solution is an aftermarket bash plate which solves the problem. A little maintenance to keep it clear of mud and grass buildup helps too.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?
