Hi guys. New to this forum. Also new to buying new
Cars. I'm looking into the GLS. They have a offer now for $2000 off final price which would bring it down to $37490. Any tips to get it cheaper or ask for extras?
Or should I wait a month or 2?
Thanks.

The biggest tip would be to do your dealing at the end of the month, they (dealers) get desperate for monthly sales numbers giving you (the consumer) a fair amount of bargaining power, also, don't be scared to play two or more dealers off against each other. Remember, they want the sale, and your money ;)

Always remember when they (dealer) lets you walk away on a firm offer thats when you have reached their limit, start low you should get one for under $36k

Currently trying to trade in my MY14 Triton.
Black
Manual
Sports bar
Nudge bar
Towbar
Soft tonneau
Mitsubishi tub liner
Tinted windows
Just put brand new tyres on it

I want the GLS model and the dealer has offered
Auto
Tow bar
Floor mats
Yub liner
Soft tonneau
Nudge bar

They are asking 23,000.
What say you all is this a good deal or should I shop around more?

Guys, looking to buy a new Triton Auto for under $32,000. What sort of model should I be looking for? Dual Cab only.

Would it be possible to get a GLS that low or should I be looking at GLX only? I'm based in Sydney and have shopped around a bit to no luck.

Thanks.

EDIT: I shopped around a bit today and was offered $32,000 for a GLX+ MY17. Driveaway no more costs to pay. Could I please get some opinions on this price?

So that price for the GLX+ was for the manual. I can get the Auto for $34-35k.

I'm heading to another dealer today, in hopes to buy a GLX 2WD Auto MY17. What price should I be aiming for? I was thinking $33k with tub liner, rubber mats and premium plates?

Opinions?

EDIT: Just got back from the dealer. I could probably get:

GLX 4x4 Auto MY17
Tub Liner
Soft Tonneau cover
Rubber Mats
Premium Plates

All up for $36k. Seems a little high for me? Could I get some advice? Maybe try and get them to lower it by a few $$.

Thanks.

Instead of editing my post again and it getting muddled I figured I'd make a new one.

Just put my deposit on a new Triton today, here's what I got:

Triton MY17 Dual Cab Auto 4x4
GLX+
Titanium Grey
Tonneau Cover
Tub Liner
Rubber Mats
Premium Plates
(bunch of other small extras like additional 3 year warranty, additional 2 year roadside assist, one free car wash every year and a full tank of petrol).

All came to $36,000, drive away.

Overall a lot more than I wanted to spend but I made two dealers battle it out against each other and am very sure I got it as low as I was ever going too, so I'm content.

So the GLS Sport has been released boasting $5000 of added options over the GLS. A 'normal' 2017 GLS in Auto can be had for less than $40k. I see 2017 GLS Sport is advertised at over $51k in manual and $54k in Auto. You can get an Exceed for less than $45k!!!
Does anyone have actual real world prices for GLS Sport? That rear diff lock is tempting, but the advertised prices at just silly.

Dealer quoted $48k drive away for GLS Sport. A lot more than what I wanted to spend so bought exceed instead.

MY17 in Titian silver?
Carpet mats
Nudge bar
Tub liner
Soft tonneau cover

$41k with trade in for my old falling apart civic. Hope got the good deal.
