Engine light

Postby Grosit01 on Thu Oct 20, 2016 1:41 pm

Yesterday my engine light came on, "GLS, 20,000km stock engine wise".
I was travelling 112kph with the speed limiter on, in high 4 open diff???
No limp mode, can't find anything wrong. The light has stayed on
Has anyone else had the engine light come on???
I dropped it off at the stealer this morning, waiting to hear back

If I am right and you were in 4H you are not meant to go over 100km/h or so the manual says?

It should say you can change on the fly at up to 100, not that once you're in 4H you can't go over 100.

Nothing to do with the gearbox, fault code came up as either dpf sensor, harness or ecu fault.

They just cleared the fault code and sent me on my way.

All good for a week, until I went away this weekend, engine light came on again on the way out of town, then on the way back 150km from home the dpf light also came on and it went into limp mode, struggled to do 70-80kph

Not happy Jan

It would help to have the fault code/number itself

They say it's the DPF temp sensor 4-6 week wait

Just cleared it and sent me on my way, if I get stuck in limp mode again, god help them
